Cueits vs Captions
One is a studio that does many things to a video. The other does one thing that nothing else does.
Captions is a broad AI video studio — captions, editing, dubbing, AI avatars and generated video — sold on credits. Cueits does one thing: it reads your talking-head clip's transcript and builds an animated infographic panel above you, with each element revealed on the word that motivates it. If you want a suite, Captions is a suite. If you want the graphic layer, that is what Cueits makes.

What Captions does better
- Far broader scope. Avatars, dubbing and generative video are whole product categories Cueits has no answer to.
- Dubbing and translation, where Cueits captions only in the language that was spoken.
- If you want one subscription covering many kinds of video work, a suite genuinely beats a single-purpose tool.
What Cueits does that it does not
- Cueits generates nothing that pretends to be you. There are no avatars, no synthetic voice and no generated footage — your own recording is the only footage in the output.
- The infographic panel is composed from your transcript rather than picked from a template, and it takes its own half of the frame rather than sitting over you.
- Styling a caption video in Cueits costs nothing until export, so trying every style and colour is free rather than metered against a credit balance.
Which one should you pick?
Pick Captions if you want a broad studio, or if avatars, dubbing or generated video are part of what you make. Cueits does none of those things.
Pick Cueits if the video is you explaining something and the missing piece is the graphic that carries the argument.
Cueits’ own prices and limits are on the pricing page, and the free plan needs no card.
Questions
- Does Cueits have AI avatars?
- No, and it is not planned. Cueits only ever composites your own footage; the panel above it is the only thing generated.
- Are both metered in credits?
- Both use a monthly credit balance. Cueits charges 30 credits per minute of source for an animation and 20 for a caption video, and the free plan includes 100 credits a month.
The free plan is a hundred credits a month, no card, and it renders the real thing.
